Airoot: robotics kits, consultancy and an online lab

Kits, consultancy, fabrication and an online lab. From first sketch to shipped hardware.

Design, fabrication and assembly under one roof. Nothing leaves without being run.

Design to fabrication

Drawn, simulated and built in one place

The board you design in the Lab is the board we manufacture. No export dance, no vendor in between.

The platform

Design, simulate and run in the browser

AIRXLAB is a first-person 3D maker lab in the browser. Walk the hall, sit at a bench, and use a real engineering tool: circuits, boards, enclosures and the parts to build them. Nothing to install.

  • Breadboard circuits, with Arduino sketches compiled by real avr-gcc and run on an emulated ATmega328P
  • The same circuit becomes a PCB: copper follows your wiring, and it exports Gerbers
  • Solid CAD around the board, exporting STL, STEP and URDF
  • A simulation arena for the assembly, and a fabrication bay for parts

Questions

Common questions

What does Airoot offer?

Airoot offers five things: robotic kits, consultancy, an online lab for circuits, PCBs and CAD, fabrication (3D printing, PCB manufacture and component sourcing), and robotics competitions.

Who are the robotics kits for?

The kits are for schools, colleges and hobbyists. Every kit ships with full documentation and code.

What is the online lab?

AIRXLAB is a first-person 3D maker lab that runs in the browser. It has benches for breadboard circuits, PCB design and solid CAD. Nothing needs to be installed.

Can I turn a lab circuit into a PCB?

Yes. The same circuit becomes a PCB, with copper following your wiring, and it exports Gerbers. The board you design in the Lab is the board Airoot manufactures.

Which file formats can I export from the lab?

Gerbers from the PCB bench, and STL, STEP and URDF from the CAD bench.

What fabrication services does Airoot offer?

Airoot offers 3D printing (FDM and resin), two and four layer PCB manufacture, and component sourcing against your BOM. You can send print-ready files, or send a specification and Airoot designs the board or part first, then makes it.

How does consultancy work?

Engineering work is scoped and quoted, from prototype to production support. A scoping call is offered within 48 hours.

What are the lab access tiers?

There are three tiers: Bench for students getting started, Studio for teams shipping hardware, and Institution for labs and departments. Every tier includes the circuit, PCB and CAD benches.

What is AIRENA-X?

AIRENA-X is an upcoming Airoot robotics competition on 19 to 21 February 2027 at The Undercroft, IIIT Allahabad. The earlier edition, AIRENA-2026, was held on 14 March 2026 at IIIT Allahabad.
